Your donation goes towards teachers’ salary and continued education, building and renovation projects, vocational training, travel and such. It is possible to donate to a specific cause if you so wish.

We accept donations in the form of cheques as well as DD. Cheques and bank drafts should be drawn in favor of ‘ Yash Sneha Trust’. Demand Draft should be made payable at Mandangad, Dapoli. Charity Schemes for Donors

  • Adopt a child scheme: for Rs. 50,000, you can adopt a child for one year. This donation will cover the education, room and board including meals. In this scheme, you will have an option of getting to know your child and you will receive once a year letter from the child.

  • Connect with a Child Scheme: For Rs. 30,000, you can adopt one child for one year for his/her education. The Scheme is without disclosing the identity of child.

  • Once a Year Meal in memory of a loved one: Donor can donate Rs. 15,000/-. On the interest of this donation, once a year one time meal will be provided to the students on a specified day in memory of a loved one. This meal will be in the name of donor or the person nominated by the donor. If the specified day falls in the vacation, the meal will be provided on the following first working day of school. Please call or email us with a reminder at least 5 days in advance of your specific date. This is a MUST for timely execution. Thank you!

  • One Time Meal in memory of a loved one: Donor can give Rs. 2,500/- and one time meal will be given to all the students on a specified day of the year of donation in memory of a loved one.

  • Award Distribution Scheme: Donor can donate Rs. 5000/-, on the interest of this amount music awards, best child award or academic related award will be given once a year. Award will be in the name of donor or person nominated by donor to the qualifying student. (Selection of Students of standard 1 to 7 & Music class, as deemed worthy recipient by Head Mistress only).

Where is your Donation Going?

100% of your donation will go to the benefit of the school, it’s working and the students.

  • Efforts to acquire sufficient water supply to school during the post monsoon months is underway. We are looking at monsoon water harvestation &/or a pipeline from a nearby dam. This will require funding and government support.

  • A plan of creating a musical performing group made solely of the blind students of the school and their music teachers is currently in motion. This group currently performs regional and folk music accompanied with dance and an act with a social message.

  • Giving them aid of musical instruments, bringing rhythm in their life.

  • Acquaint them with latest technology by introducing them to Brail software.

Future Expansions

  • Start a workshop for training & vocational guidance to the students. Production of items such as gift bags, door mats, incense sticks (agarbatti), candles etc can take place in the near future. Such training will be offered to the parents od the blind student so that they can earn a living in partnership as a family.

  • In the workshop, training will be given to blind women in the production of the above mentioned items so that they can earn a living.
